We reserve the right to change prices and specifications without prior notice. Every effort is made to ensure products are shown as true to life as possible, however, colours can only be as accurate as the website, user hardware, and user software allows.

ORDERS

All orders are subject to acceptance and availability, and items in your shopping basket are not reserved and may be purchased by other customers.

If there is a problem with the stock for your order you will be notified and entitled to a full refund. We will make every effort to find you a suitable alternative, should you wish. Occasionally however, we may be waiting for shipments from our suppliers. Consequently, you may from time to time be given the possibility of making an Advance Payment for certain items in which case you are able to make an Advance Purchase. This will ensure that you receive this item in priority once stock has been delivered to Pet & Country Ltd. Pet & Country will only take Advance Purchase orders for stock that has been scheduled for delivery by a supplier. Your rights regarding Advance Purchase are the same as those for any other purchase at Pet & Country. Alternatively, you may simply choose to register your email address for notification of arrival of the selected merchandise not held in stock.

ACCEPTANCE OF YOUR ORDER

Once you have made your choice and your order has been placed, you will receive an email acknowledging the details of your order. This email is NOT an acceptance of your order, just a confirmation that we have received it.

Unless you cancel your order, acceptance of your order and completion of the contract between you and Pet & Country will be completed when we email you to confirm the goods have been dispatched. The sale contract is therefore concluded in BALLYMONEY, NORTHERN IRELAND and the language of the contract is English.

We reserve the right not to accept your order in the event, for example, that we are unable to obtain authorisation for payment, that shipping restrictions apply to a particular item, that the item ordered is out of stock or does not satisfy our quality control standards and is withdrawn.

We may also refuse to process and therefore accept a transaction for any reason or refuse service to anyone at any time at our sole discretion. We will not be liable to you or any third party by reason of our withdrawing any merchandise from the Site whether or not that merchandise has been sold, removing, screening or editing any materials or content on the Site, refusing to process a transaction or unwinding or suspending any transaction after processing has begun.

PRICING POLICY

All our products are priced in pounds sterling and include UK VAT at the current rate. VAT exclusions may apply to some products, for example children’s clothing.

REGISTRATION WITH PET & COUNTRY

To purchase goods from our site you must register all details shown on the relevant form. These details must be real and correct and any changes to details must be notified. These details may be checked before any orders are dispatched.

METHOD OF PAYMENT

You can make your payment by most major Credit or Debit cards. International transactions will need to complete 3D secure or by using a verified PayPal account.

WHEN WILL YOU BE CHARGED?

Your card will be debited when you place the order, as is the case with most online stores and, of course, high street stores. In the unlikely event that we are unable to supply any item, you will be entitled to a refund to your card to the value of that item.

CARD SECURITY

Please do not e-mail your card details to us. No responsibility can be taken for the security of your details if given this way. The utmost care and consideration is taken to ensure that your card details are secure. This is achieved by encrypting your card number at the time when you place your order. It is imperative that you type in the card holders name as it is shown on the card, and address exactly as it appears on the statement.

If we suspect an order is fraudulent in any way we reserve the right not to process the order and we will give the relevant details to the authorities.

Card fraud is illegal and will lead to prosecution in all cases.

INSURANCE AND DELIVERY

Pet & Country ensures each purchase during the time it is in transit until it is delivered to your specified delivery address. We may require a signature for any goods delivered, at which point responsibility for your purchased goods passes to you. If you have specified a recipient who is not you for delivery purposes (for example as a gift) then you accept that evidence of a signature by them (or at that delivery address) is evidence of delivery and fulfilment by Pet & Country, and transfer of responsibility in the same way.

Please note that we aim to dispatch all orders received before 12 midday on the day they are received from Monday to Friday. Orders placed at weekend will be despatched on the next working day (excludes some public holidays). Please note that during sale periods despatch times may be delayed. Estimated delivery times are to be used as a guide only and commence from the date of dispatch. Pet & Country is not responsible for any delays caused by factors affecting delivery, which are beyond our control or as a result of destination customs clearance processes.

FAULTY GOODS

If goods are returned due to being faulty, a full refund, replacement or exchange will be available upon confirmation of the fault, plus the cost of postage and packing (equal to the original postage and packing cost incurred by us, unless proof of postage cost is supplied) and any other costs that have incurred as a direct result of faulty goods being supplied (providing proof is supplied).

REFUNDS

All refunds will be placed on the original card used for the purchase. Please allow up to 21 days for the refund to credit your account.
